With a flowering period of over 100 days, it offers a long-lasting display of color in your garden! Enjoy a prolific bloom of Groundbreakers from July to September, with a mixed coloration from white to pink.
Hardy to -30°C!
Very easy to care for, disease-resistant, and winter-hardy down to -30°C! This robust hydrangea is a powerhouse that fits into any garden design!

They do everything they can to offer the best in the world. In addition to the Living Creations® concept, a new concept has been created: the Groundbreaker® collection! With its unique look, it is a great addition to any shop floor!
The Groundbreaker® Blush™ was the first variety from the Groundbreaker® collection to be introduced in 2024. In 2026, two other revolutionary newcomers will be added: Hydrangea paniculata Groundbreaker® Ruby™ and Greeny™.

Official Groundbreaker® producer!We are proud to produce the unique Groundbreaker® collection! A spectacular and revolutionary new Hydrangea paniculata that can be used not only as a shrub but also as a groundcover. With its compact, low growth habit and abundant branching, it's perfect for small and large gardens, borders, group plantings in gardens, or public green spaces. But of course, it's also very suitable for pots on patios, balconies, or even garden tables!

Groundbreaker® Blush™
The lovely white and pinkThe Groundbreaker® Blush™ is the white-pink flowering variety in the collection! The Blush™ is the first variety in the collection, introduced in August 2024 at the Plantarium Groen-Direkt trade fair. At this trade fair, the Groundbreaker® Blush™ won a Gold KVBC Medal! The jury report included the following assessment: "Unique and innovative in appearance. Low, broad growth, relatively small, very healthy foliage, and profuse flowering with white flower panicles that turn pink as they fade."
Groundbreaker® Ruby™
The exciting white and redThe Groundbreaker® Ruby™ starts with white flowers in summer and gradually changes colour to an intense red. The Ruby™ has fine leaves and a maximum height of 40 cm. What makes this spectacular Hydrangea so unique is its compact, low growth habit and richly branched structure. During breeding, genetic material was deliberately used to create a plant that develops more in width than in height.

Groundbreaker® Greeny™
The bright green oneFollowing Groundbreaker® Blush and Ruby, we are introducing the revolutionary Groundbreaker® Greeny. This unique Hydrangea paniculata stands out for its compact, broad growth habit and rich branching. This ground-covering Hydrangea blooms for around 100 days and is completely covered from July to November with beautiful green flowers that form simultaneously and cover the plant like a green blanket.
