Preventive approach

With respect for plants and environment

Responsible cultivation is central to our approach. We believe that healthy plants start with a healthy foundation — and that chemical agents should play only a minimal role in this. By choosing a preventive, sustainable approach, we invest in the vitality of our plants and in the future of our profession.

Thanks to this preventive approach, our plants remain robust and resilient — with less dependence on chemicals and more confidence in the power of nature.

This is how we grow green... responsibly.

Conscious and decisive

Biotechnology

Instead of fighting, we focus on strengthening. Our approach is based on a smart mix of natural solutions and biotechnological innovations:

  • Plant enhancers stimulate the plant's natural defence mechanism, making it more resistant to diseases and stress factors.

  • Biostimulants with probiotic rhizobacteria improve root development, promote nutrient uptake and strengthen microbial soil life.

  • We use nematodes (eelworms) as natural enemies of soil insects, an effective and environmentally friendly way to control pests.

  • Bacterial preparations and biological insecticides help control harmful insects without harming beneficial organisms or the ecosystem.

Automation and Mechanization

Machine park

Our machinery is well maintained and continuously modernised! We have developed many of the machines ourselves, and they contribute to improved working conditions and plant quality. Our various pruning machines, stacking machines and spreading machines enable efficient and balanced working. This way of working improves uniformity and working speed, minimising the use of crop protection products.

Did you know that our entire fleet of machines and vehicles is fully electrified and our roofs are covered with solar panels?

MPS-ECAS

Certificate

Our environmental impact is independently monitored through the MPS certification scheme. This involves detailed recording of our use of energy, fertilisers and crop protection products. The aim is to become even more sustainable.

We hold the MPS-A+ certificate. Our current sustainability status can always be tracked online using our MPS number. This MPS label can also be found on our own photo labels.

Fully recirculated water system

Re-use of water

All the water that falls on our nursery is collected, pumped into our basin and reused. Rainwater that falls on the roof of the greenhouse is collected in the clean water basin. Rainwater that falls on the field and all the washed-out irrigation water is collected and ends up in our return water basin. This gives us a closed system with as little water waste as possible. Residues of crop protection products and fertilisers do not end up in surface or groundwater.
